Anti-Trafficking & Ethical Recruitment Policy
Last Updated: January 2025
JK Manpower is committed to preventing human trafficking, forced labour, and all forms of exploitation in overseas recruitment. This policy outlines our commitment to ethical recruitment practices.
1. Our Commitment
JK Manpower operates in full alignment with the ILO Fair Recruitment Initiative, the Dhaka Principles for Migration with Dignity, and India's Emigration Act. We believe that no worker should ever pay for a job, and that all overseas employment should be based on transparent terms, informed consent, and legal compliance.
2. No Recruitment Fees to Workers
We strictly prohibit charging any fees, deposits, or costs to job seekers or candidates at any stage of the recruitment process. This includes placement fees, visa processing charges, medical test charges, training fees, transportation costs, and any other direct or indirect charges. All recruitment costs are borne by the employer client.
3. Prohibition of Forced Labour
We do not engage in, facilitate, or tolerate any form of forced labour, debt bondage, indentured servitude, or involuntary work. We ensure that all workers retain possession of their own identity documents (passport, visa, etc.) at all times and are free to terminate their employment in accordance with their contract terms.
4. Transparent Employment Terms
All workers placed through JK Manpower receive clear, written employment contracts in a language they understand before departure. Contract terms include job description, working hours, salary, benefits, accommodation arrangements, and grievance mechanisms.
5. Document Retention
We never confiscate or retain workers' identity documents, passports, or travel documents. Workers maintain full control of their personal documents at all times before, during, and after the recruitment process.
6. Child Labour
JK Manpower does not recruit, place, or facilitate the employment of anyone below the legal working age in both the origin and destination countries.
7. Grievance Mechanism
Workers who experience or witness any form of exploitation, trafficking, or unethical treatment can report it through WhatsApp: +91 84287 60233, Email: support@jkmanpower.in, or the Government helpline: 1800-11-1363 (toll-free). All reports are treated confidentially and investigated promptly.
8. Staff Training
All JK Manpower recruitment staff receive training on identifying and preventing human trafficking, ethical recruitment practices, and compliance with anti-trafficking regulations.
